Machine Tools Northwest was founded in 2009 by Vince Selway the company’s president. Vince came from a large family-owned machine tool company founded in the 60s by Vince’s grandfather Roy Selway. When Roy passed away Vince’s father Pat Selway and his brothers took over and continued to grow the company. Vince learned from them a lot of the characteristics he takes on today. Pat was a no-nonsense guy and no matter what, he told the truth and worked extremely hard. Vince brought those values with him when he started Machine tools Northwest and instills them in every employee that comes to work for Machine Tools Northwest.

From the beginning Vince has always had a vision for Machine Tools Northwest to be a relationship-based partner that our customers can trust and count on. As the company has grown employee by employee, Machine Tools Northwests’ potential has grown exponentially. The addition of Logan, Vince’s daughter in the last year and a half has brought to the forefront that Machine Tools Northwest is a company that plans to grow generation after generation. Focusing on customer relationships, great service, and growing together as a family.
